G-Power BMW M6 Hurricane CS Fastest BMW Coupe In the World
BMW | Justin Anfinson | January 12, 2010 at 4:00 pmBeing a real BMW guy, I have a huge obsession with G-Power – an ultra high performance tuning house in Germany that specializes in BMW’s. The dazzling BMW aftermarket packages which they develop in house are nothing less than first class in terms of performance and quality.
Enter the G Power BMW M6 Hurricane CS. This car wastes no time hitting the world speed record for street legal coupes so I won’t waste any time introducing it.
The G Power engineers started off with a stock BMW M6 powered by a naturally aspirated 5.0L V10 producing 500 HP at 7750 RPM and 383 lb-ft of torque at 6100 RPM. This did not suffice hence the fitting of an SK III RS twin-supercharger setup bumping the power up to a remarkable 750 HP which enabled the G Power M6 Hurricane CS to reach a top speed of 367.4km/h (228.3 MPH). To go along with those impressive numbers, the two ton coupe will accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.4 seconds, 0-200 km/h in 9.6 seconds and 0-300 km/h in just only 26 seconds.
Aerodynamics consists of a multipart wide body kit and a carbon ceramic brake system slows the beast down with a custom individually adjustable suspension setup providing the needed stability.
Don’t hold your breath on obtaining one of these exclusive rides though as this edition will be limited to 5 cars worldwide and the G Power M6 Hurricane CS will cost a cool 360,000 Euros ($523,000USD).
