Since Fernando’s formal Renault contract is expired, he will be able to attend the Madonna di Campilglio ski resort for Ferrari’s traditional annual media event next week as an acknowledged Scuderia team driver. He had attended Ferrari’s season end Finali Mondiali event held in Valencia Spain last mid November however had to use normal clothing due to his unfinished contract with Renault.

The double world champion Alonso and Ferrari team mate Felipe Massa are confirmed to both be wearing a Schuberth helmet this coming F1 season.

The Italian team also noted that the 2010 Ferrari 281 race car will be unveiled at Valencia Spain’s Ricardo Tormo circuit on February 1/2010. They also confirmed that Alonso will also head to the Italian Dolomites for the “Wroom” event on Monday afternoon.

  1. It’s always interesting when Formula One teams take on new drivers, especially when none of us really knows how the new cars are going to turn out.

This much is certain, McLaren, Red Bull and Ferrari were making inroads into Brawn’s designs last season. However the new rules package will tell the tale of who started developing them and then the driver match ups. We can’t rule out Brawn,Schumacher and Brawn’s ability to adapt quickly to the new rules.
