Audi Introduces Its A7 Sportback concept

Not since the 70’s have we seen manufacturers making luxury coupe-looking 4 door sedans. That seems to be the new direction they are taking now and Audi seems to have the better grasp on design with its A7 in comparison to BMW’s 5 series GT. Although, I do think the size of the glass roof is a little over the top.
It will likely be offered with 18″,19″ or 20″ wheels and engines such as the turbocharged 2.0L 4 cylinder, supercharged 3.0L V6, 4.2L V8 and an efficient 3.0L TDI V6 turbo-diesel. Audi also notes that the A7 will be a drivers car as you will sit relatively low in it and have features like continuous damping control, torque-vectoring sports differential and a quick shifting seven speed dual clutch transmission (aka S-Tronic). Quattro will be available on most models and Audi says the A7 platform will be very agile and less front heavy than its previous platform designs. You can expect a $60,000 starting price, just above the A6 and below the A8. For that price though I hope they replace the low-budget looking steering wheel.
